With years of experience in music production and sound engineering, I’ve worked with world-class artists including Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, Tom E Lewis, Toni Childs, Ross Hannaford (guitarist with Daddy Cool) and many more. My collaborations include engineers and producers such as Chris Thompson (whose credits include Silverchair and Nick Cave), Lez Karski (whose credits include Boys Next Door, Midnight Oil), Tony Cohen (whose credits include Nick Cave, Go Betweens), and Chris Dickie (whose credits include The Pogues, The Cure, Simply Red).
I hold a degree in classical music composition and regularly release music under my own project, Cooperblack. In early 2025 I participated in a School Of Song Masterclass with Brian Eno as guest artist, looking at composition and songwriting process. (Also love singing harmonies)
My work spans studio production, live multitrack recording, film sound, and online mixing and mastering.

MIXING & MASTERING
Professional mixing and mastering services for singles, EPs, and albums. Using a combination of hybrid outboard gear, plugins, and expert listening, I ensure your music is loud, clear, and release-ready. DDP master creation is available.
LOCATION SOUND RECORDIST
I provide professional location sound recording for film, documentary, and music projects. My kit is fully equipped for field recording in the Northern Territory. Notable projects include: The Australian Dream, Robbie Hood and Great Southern Landscapes (ABC)
FILM ANIMATION POST MIX / SOUND DESIGN / COMPOSITION / ADR / VOICEOVER
Services include Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR), voiceover recording, stereo mixing, and film post-production, sound design and composition.
